PERFORM Crossroads — Play with us. Without borders.
Play with us. Borderless.
Â
Â
Â
It's not the first time PERFORM School of music® has taken its students across borders, or welcomed musicians arriving from other countries — over the years it's happened more than once, on a one-off basis. From this year, it becomes a structured path: PERFORM Crossroads is born.
Â
The first chapter arrives at the end of August: nine musicians from the Egressy Béni Református Művészeti Szakgimnázium in Budapest — a Hungarian secondary school specialising in music, dance and theatre arts — join us for two and a half weeks, from 31 August to 16 September.

The program is not just any study stay.Â
Â
Â
Daily ensemble sessions, core subjects such as Groove Matrix, vocal technique, stage presence, guidance through certified international exams, and a Podcasting course leading to the production of a real episode, published on BLOM Community and on our blog.
From 1 September, the project also opens up to our own students — new and long-standing — and to aspiring students, with the option of choosing a single period or the full pathway. Working language: English, with Italian translation for anyone who needs it.
It closes on 16 September with a public concert — venue still to be confirmed — and the presentation of the podcast: the story, told through music, of two schools that truly met.
We shared a preview on Instagram, with a few images and the first details.Â
The full program is on the event page on the website, and anyone wanting to secure a place can find the early bird rate in the shop.
