Musical Disclosure by Perform School of music Episode 60

We conclude the week dedicated to Pearl Jam.

Concluding the week dedicated to Pearl Jam.

November 12, 2002, marks a significant chapter in Pearl Jam's history with the release of their seventh album, "Riot Act." With successful singles like "I Am Mine," "Save You," and "Love Boat Captain," the album features folk sounds and includes "Arc," a touching tribute to the victims of the 2000 Roskilde Festival. In 2003, Pearl Jam embarked on a massive tour in Australia and North America: an official bootleg was produced for each concert, later made available both online and in stores. 2003 also marked the farewell to Epic Records, with the band embracing independence with "Man of the Hour," their first label-free single. The song, used by Tim Burton in "Big Fish," received a Golden Globe nomination in 2004. From the European concerts in 2007 to their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017, Pearl Jam has continued to be a musical beacon. After "Riot Act," Pearl Jam released four more albums: "Pearl Jam" (2006), "Backspacer" (2009), "Lightning Bolt" (2013), and finally, in 2020, they announced their eleventh album, "Gigaton."

The last listening of the week is "Love Boat Captain."
