Welcome back to our music column. This week, we focus on one of the greatest pop groups of all time, the legendary ABBA.

The famous Swedish quartet officially formed in 1971 to release their first album, "Ring Ring", a couple of years later. The album is a kind of tribute to contemporary american music and enjoys decent and unexpected success both nationally and internationally, enough to convince the four members to continue their musical project and permanently adopt the name ABBA.

However, the definitive success in the american and british markets comes later, in 1974, when the band presents the single "Waterloo" at the Eurovision Song Contest. The song is part of the album of the same name, and we present it to you.

Overall, the album may not be as striking as the single suggests, and the feeling that ABBA is just a group destined for only temporary success doesn't seem unfounded.
