In the first phase of the event, Alessandra will shed light on the anatomy of this "invisible instrument," dividing it into three essential components: the engine (which includes breathing and muscles), the source (the vocal cords, their position, and their vibratory function), and the filter (the vocal tract and resonating chambers), analyzing their role in the production of vocal sound.

However, the voice is not just anatomy, and the second part of the Masterclass will be dedicated to the theme of the interaction between the voice and the singer's body and mind: the importance of proper knowledge and use of the body combined with an appropriate mindset will be discussed. Finally, Alessandra will guide the participants in creating and implementing a sustainable daily routine for vocal development. Practical examples of exercises from the course "La Palestra VocAle" will be illustrated, and participants will be engaged through a series of activities aimed at training the muscles of the engine, source, and filter, which are the three elements that make up the voice instrument. It will be an opportunity for everyone to put into practice what they have learned, thus preparing for vocal performance and post-performance recovery. Active participation is required for each phase of the Masterclass, as Alessandra will ask participants to perform exercises and activities related to the topics covered.

During the event, Ivano Gruarin will alternate between explaining the fundamental elements for sound building and guiding participants through hands-on exercises to apply what they have learned. All aspects of the modern guitarist's sound chain will be discussed, and Ivano will share valuable knowledge and strategies to help you refine your sound, providing personalized feedback and advice.
The interesting aspect of the masterclass is that even if you are not a guitarist, you will still receive valuable information essential for today's musician. In fact, topics will include effects (EQ, Compressors, Distortion, Modulation, Reverb), microphone placement and amplifier choice, four-cable method connection, pedalboard assembly, and much more.
