Musical Disclosure by Perform School of music Episode 39

Let's conclude the week dedicated to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, starting with the album 'I'm With You' and bringing it up to the present day.

Let's conclude the week dedicated to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, starting with the album 'I'm With You' and bringing it up to the present day.

'I'm With You' (2011), recorded with the addition of piano played by Flea and once again produced by Rick Rubin, marks the beginning of yet another new chapter in their long career. The single 'The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie' provides a taste of a fresh and funky sound that harks back to the band's roots. The band embarks on a world tour, reaching new places and facing unexpected challenges, such as Anthony Kiedis's foot surgery in 2012.

In 2016, the band releases a new album, 'The Getaway,' marking the departure of Rick Rubin from the producer role. The single 'Dark Necessities' precedes the album's release, produced by Danger Mouse. In 2019, the announcement of John Frusciante's return as the guitarist generated excitement among fans and opened an exciting new chapter in the Peppers' history, marked by the two albums 'Unlimited Love' (2022) and 'Return of the Dream Canteen' (2022).

The final listen of the week is 'Look Around'!
