Good evening and welcome back to our overview of music protagonists. This week, we're turning up the energy with the iconic Van Halen!

The Van Halen brothers (Alex and Eddie), driven by their father, developed extraordinary skills on guitar and drums from a young age, forming a band that captured the attention of the music world with its unique sound. After an initial name change from "Mammoth" to "Van Halen," the band, completed by bassist Michael Anthony and David Lee Roth, took the music scene by storm, playing in local venues and clubs before attracting the attention of producers Mo Ostin and Ted Templeman in the mid-1970s.

The debut album "Van Halen" (1978) brought extraordinary success to the band, thanks in part to Eddie Van Halen's impactful guitar work, still considered one of the most important guitarists in his genre. Even from the first album, his strong personality led to numerous disagreements with the band's producer. His need for greater creative freedom led him to build the 5150 Studios, where the band would work from the 1980s onward.

For this first session, we present the famous "Ain't Talkin' 'bout Love." Enjoy!
