Welcome back! Let's continue our week dedicated to John Mayer.
The second album released by the american guitarist, "Heavier Things" makes him quite popular, especially in the United States, and marks a clear artistic turning point. There's a broader use of the electric guitar compared to the first album, and most notably, it introduces Steve Jordan and Pino Palladino for the first time. "Try!" (2005) is the first live album by the John Mayer Trio and marks the beginning of a highly successful collaboration with Palladino and Jordan, continuing into the well-known “Continuum”. It's a blues album enriched with influences of funk, soul, R&B, and pop, an expression of fully realized artistic maturity that contains the guitarist's most famous tracks, such as "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" and "Vultures."
Today, we present "Gravity" from the album "Try." Enjoy listening!
