Musical Disclosure by Perform School of music Episode 13

Today, we make the first foray into our homegrown music with the phenomenal Negrita!

Good evening and welcome back to the Perform School of Music column featuring modern music protagonists. Today, we make our first foray into the music of our country with the phenomenal Negrita!

The Arezzo-based group is among the most important Italian rock bands: Negrita has been able to combine constant stylistic evolution with a unique and perfectly recognizable sound throughout their career. After honing their skills in the clubs of the Tuscan region, they made their debut with the album "Negrita." The single "Cambio" from this album is very famous, known by many due to its presence in the soundtrack of the film "Così è la vita" by the comedy trio Aldo, Giovanni e Giacomo.

The explosive debut allows the band to embark on extensive tours throughout the country and prestigious collaborations, such as with Luciano Ligabue in the song "L'han detto anche gli Stones". The commercial success of the first album and subsequent ones, combined with intense live performances both nationally and internationally, immediately establishes the band as a true reference point in the Italian music scene.

For today's listening, we present the single “Cambio”.

Enjoy listening!
