Musical Disclosure by Perform School of music Episode 1

Today marks the beginning of the new Perform School of Music column dedicated to the history of modern music.

Today begins the new Perform School of Music column dedicated to the history of modern music. In the coming weeks, we will present an overview of the most important artists in the past and present music scene, revisiting old classics, and, with a bit of luck, discovering unexpected gems. Each week is dedicated to a single artist, and we invite you to contact us to share what you would like to hear.

Our first appointment is dedicated to the great Sting.

Globally renowned as the singer and bassist of the British band The Police, after the band's dissolution, Sting focused on his solo career, releasing his first post-Police album, "The Dream of the Blue Turtles", in 1985.

The album achieved moderate success, thanks to singles like "Russians" and "If You Love Somebody Set Them Free". Notable is the participation of jazz legends such as Branford Marsalis and Omar Hakim, giving a different flavor from the sounds Sting had accustomed fans to during The Police era.

We present to you a decidedly unique version of "Shadows in The Rain," a song from "Zenyatta Mondatta".

Enjoy listening!
