Let's continue with the second installment of this week dedicated to Daft Punk.
The year 2005 marks a turning point in the career of Daft Punk with the release of "Human After All." Recorded in just six weeks, the album is decidedly experimental and represents the duo's first work not universally embraced, in part due to the repetitive nature of the track beats. Nevertheless, tracks like "Robot Rock" and "Technologic" quickly gain popularity in clubs and beyond, reaching a wide audience.
Studio work is only part of the duo's activity, known not only for their sparkling helmets but also for their high-energy live performances. A prime example is "Alive 2007," a live album that marks the group's return to the stage after a nine-year hiatus and earns them a Grammy Award.
Today's listen is from "Human After All": here's "Television Rules The Nation" in the live version!
