Paul is a Licentiate of both RSL Awards and Trinity College London and is now a Music Examiner - a role that sees him assess the progress of musicians of all ages and abilities throughout the world in graded music examinations (GME), professional diplomas and vocational qualifications.
Furthermore, Paul is an Arts Award Advisor for Trinity College London, supporting and assessing young people through Bronze, Silver and Gold Arts Award courses.
He is also a Fellow at the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce and a Fellow of the London College of Music.
Live work has included television, arena concerts, festivals, touring theatre shows and much more. He has worked with a host of artists from across the musical spectrum including Country star, Sarah Jory, The English National Ballet, Grammy award-winning Tom Chapin, his brother and producer, Steve Chapin and guitar virtuoso, Lee Wrathe.
Paul also toured extensively with "To be Frank" a tribute to Sinatra and the Rat Pack under the musical direction of Matt Stacey. He has performed at numerous clinics and festivals with the likes of Jojo Mayer, Dom Famularo and Ray Luzier and continues to perform regularly throughout Europe.
Paul was asked to publish books and apps for several notable drummers and, in 2004, he composed all of the sight-reading tests and selected the performance pieces for the Trinity College London entire drum kit syllabus. In 2009 he signed his own worldwide publishing deal with Alfred Music Publishing.
