Joey Tassello, professor PERFORM School of music®
Joey Tassello, aka Alessandro Gaza, has a multifaceted and multidisciplinary career ranging from music and audiovisual production to teaching.
After a solid educational path that includes a Diploma in Jazz/Rock Guitar at D.A.M.S. in Turin, advanced courses in directing and sound design at the Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale in Saluzzo, and technical qualifications on audio-video editing and management platforms, Joey stands out for his constant professional evolution.
Among his experiences are the creation of audiovisual content, the production of original podcasts (including “Podcast Micidiali” by Maccio Capatonda for Audible Originals), and the sound design of the animated series Letrabots at ODS Studios.
Collaborations in the audiobook sector with Audible are added, technical management of musical events at Magazzino Musicale Merula, and artistic and technical direction of projects like Joey’s Garage.
Since 2009, he has also been active as an audio/video technician at ODS Studios, working on significant productions in the Italian audiovisual scene.
In the educational field, in addition to previous roles as a guitar and arrangement teacher at the Modern Music Institute of Turin, in December 2024 he started collaborating with the PERFORM School of Music as a teacher of Podcasting and Audio/Visual Production courses.
Thanks to his multifaceted experience and ability to innovate in multimedia languages, Joey represents a reference figure in the field of creative production and education.
