Ivano Gruarin, full professor PERFORM School of music®
Ivano Gruarin was born as an electric guitarist, although over time he has deepened the study and live practice of the acoustic guitar in its peculiarities and specificities.
Under the guidance of Maestro Donato Begotti, he obtained, with full marks and in just one year of the course, the “Master in rock guitar” at the CPM in Milan (Franco Mussida Professional Music Center); moreover, he successfully carries out his Jazz guitar studies with Maestro Mario Petracca, as well as participating in numerous masterclasses of Italian and international guitarists (Scott Henderson, Mike Stern, Bebo Ferra, Claudio Bazzari, Sandro Gibellini, Greg Howe, Steve Vai ).
Over the years, in addition to his activity as a guitarist, he has covered the role of arranger and music producer for numerous and different situations, from the single artist to music for films and commercials.
He has taken part in many projects, including Disco Inferno (70s party band) 2000-2002, Dream Into Infinity (tribute Band to Dream Theater) 1998-2004, Elegacy (Power Metal Band) 2012-2015, Aida (Progressive Rock) 2001-2005.
Currently, he is busy with various artistic projects including "La Porta Nuova (Summerhouse Music Ltd), Funk it (70s Party Band), Blascomania (Tribute to Vasco Rossi), Silvio Merlin (Pop Italian music-Ruza Production), The 19th Symphony (Acoustic Duo-cover Pop Music) ".
With a long experience in teaching, in which he continues to update himself, in 2013 he became a teacher of guitar and ensemble at the Perform School of music.
