Ivano Gruarin, full professor PERFORM School of music®
Ivano Gruarin was born as an electric guitarist, although over time he has deepened the study and live practice of the acoustic guitar in its peculiarities and specificities.
Under the guidance of Maestro Donato Begotti, he obtained, with full marks and in just one year of the course, the “Master in rock guitar” at the CPM in Milan (Franco Mussida Professional Music Center); moreover, he successfully carries out his Jazz guitar studies with Maestro Mario Petracca, as well as participating in numerous masterclasses of Italian and international guitarists (Scott Henderson, Mike Stern, Bebo Ferra, Claudio Bazzari, Sandro Gibellini, Greg Howe, Steve Vai ).
Over the years, in addition to his role as a guitarist, he has also served as an arranger and music producer for numerous and diverse situations, ranging from individual artists to music for films and advertisements.
What to Expect
During the event, Ivano Gruarin will alternate a phase of explanation of the fundamental elements for the construction of sound with a phase in which participants will put into practice what they have learned under Ivano's guidance. We will talk about all the elements that make up the sound chain of the modern guitarist, and Ivano will share valuable knowledge and strategies to help you perfect your sound, providing personalized feedback and advice. The interesting aspect of the masterclass is that, even if you are not a guitarist, you will still receive valuable information that is essential for today's musician.
In fact, we will talk about effects ( EQ, Compressors, Distortions, Modulations, Reverbs ), miking and choice of amplifier, four-cable connection, assembly of the pedalboard and much more.

The masterclass will be held on March 24th at the Birrificio Officine Ferroviarie, in Corso Sommeiller 12, Turin: a welcoming and stimulating place to immerse yourself in the world of music.
