Diego Budicin, full professor PERFORM School of music®
Diego Budicin approached the guitar from an early age, starting to develop a notable technical and expressive mastery of the instrument.
He attended the Lizard Academy in Turin and entered the world of music, from a professional perspective, under the guidance of Massimo Arminchiardi. The important theoretical skills and the ability to master a great variety of musical styles result in various collaborations and solo activities, both live and online. At just 15 years old, he won the competition (selected by Dodi Battaglia) as best young guitarist and he performed live nationally on Rai 1 as part of the Domenica In format, hosted by Pippo Baudo. Later on, he performed in two more episode of the same TV program, playing with the orchestra under the direction of Maestro Pippo Caruso.
Worth remembering, in 2009, the collaboration with the American John Dargan, which culminated in a solo tour in Florida; in 2011, he won the Chickenfoot Guitar Contest, selected by the guitarist of the Italian band Extrema and he was invited as a live guest on Rock TV. The same year he participated as an opening artist in the European tour of the Stoney Curtis Band, with more than a dozen concerts among Holland, Germany and the United Kingdom; in 2012, he took part in Steve Vai's Italian tour in Rome.
