Alex Bonacci, full professor PERFORM School of music®

Alex Bonacci approaches the instrument around the age of 7 and over time he has studied in different schools and with many teachers. During adolescence, the study and deepening of the knowledge of the instrument pushed him to change different teachers. Among the experiences that marked his formative path we can mention a course at Berklee College, where he studied drums with Ron Savage, theory and solfeggio with Ken Cervenka, harmony and composition with Matthew Nicholl. But among the masters who have marked the training path, thanks also to courses, private lessons and many masterclasses which he attended, we can name Jeff Berlin, Omar Hakim, Peter Erskine, Chris Coleman, Dave Weckl, JoJo Mayer, Maurizio Dei Lazzaretti , Pat Martino, "El Negro" Hernandez, Keith Carlock, Aaron Spears, Steve Smith, Dennis Chambers, Miroslav Vitous, Furio Chirico, Larry Monroe, Kiko Loureiro, Daryl Lowery and many more.

Among the musicians and professionals with whom he had the pleasure of playing, live and/or in the studio, we may name Tony Levin, Roberto Diana, All the Mornings of the World (Heineken Jammin Festival 2012 finalist), Alessia D'Andrea (Jethro Tull, Ian Anderson, David Arch, Steafan Hannigan, etc.), William Jones, JP Cervoni, the Vincent, Stephan Zeh, Elisabetta Coraini, Rick Romano, Vince Tempera, James Raymond, Brian Ray, Stefano Olla, Lowlands (the band with whom he played the European tour "Gypsy child Tour 2011"), Florian Opahle, Ive (finalist at Eurovision 2009), Franco Catricalà, Ivan Battistella, "Rigo" Righetti, Dj Molella, Emanuele Frusi, Simone Borghi, Timerec and many others.
